The last six months have been hectic with our expansion into a new premises and the opening of our tearoom, The Tea Rose. We're excited to be open every Saturday showcasing our delicious food in our vintage style setting with all our food served on dainty China. We offer a wide selection of T2 teas, coffees, scrumptious breakfasts, homestyle baking, delicious high teas and so much more.
Available as a private function room, the Tea Rose has been proud to host a range of events including two sell-out dinner shows by Keith Levy, the debut of the Death Cafe and many private high tea functions ranging from bridal parties to baby showers. Upcoming events include our Mid-winter Christmas feast in July, the Mad Hatters tea party this spring and the much anticipated book launch for Patti Clark's first publication in September.
Staying true to our love of good food, the catering business is the heart of our success. With the Twentymans funeral catering among our new clients, Jennifer and the team are busy in the kitchen seven days a week. No matter how big or small, we treat every client with the same philosophy: Real food, real people and an extra serve of Aroha ... Every time.
We warmly invite you into our gorgeous space, The Tea Rose, 746 Pollen St, every Saturday, 8.30 a.m. onwards.
Jennifer, Kristi, Sonja and Julie.
